Q: In Pakistan, there is a famous city named Pakpattan, where there is a shrine of a Sufi shaykh called Farid Al-Din Mas`ud, who died in 664 A.H. His shrine has two doors; one is open for visitors throughout the year and the other is open for only five days every year; starting from the fifth (5) of Muharram on the occasion of an annual feast set at the shrine. People there call this door "The door of Jannah (Paradise)", claiming that the Sufi shaykh Nizham Al-Din Awliya' saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) when the veil was removed before him and he told him that this door is the door of Jannah and that whoever passes through it will enter it.
